U.S. Shipping and Processing Charges

If we ever have an exception to the shipping schedule below and are not shipping out any orders on a certain day, we will list the exception for that day in the first paragraph of this Customer Service page. While this will not happen often, please always check that first paragraph when placing your order if you need your order right away. Also, we do not ship orders on postal holidays.

If you need an order by a certain date, please email us at service@lemonadecouture.com before placing your order or list that in the comments section upon checkout so that if we cannot get your order to you by the date you have listed, we can contact you to let you know that. Please always look at the turnaround times in the "United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times" section below, since that is the schedule we work off of when shipping orders. We are a mom and pop family run business and it will be a rare occasion that we will be able to ship off an order earlier than the time frames listed below. So, please assume the below schedule when deciding which shipping option to select.

You will see available shipping options and their prices on the second page of checkout, after you have entered your address information on the first page. The first page of checkout does not show shipping charges since you do not pick your shipping option until page two.

United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times

For USPS First-Class or USPS Priority Mail orders that do NOT contain monograms:

  • USPS orders placed by 7:30pm Central time Monday through Thursday, ship off the next day. For example, an order placed at noon on a Monday ships off on Tuesday.
  • Orders placed after 7:30pm Central time Monday though Thursday ship two days later. For example, an order placed at 10pm on a Monday ships off on Wednesday.
  • Orders placed on Friday ship off on Saturday.
  • Orders placed by 8am Central time on Saturday ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 8am Central time on Saturday ship off on Monday.
  • Orders placed on Sunday by 7:30pm Central time ship off on Monday.
  • Orders placed after 7:30pm Central time on Sunday ship on Tuesday.

For USPS First-Class or USPS Priority Mail orders that contain monograms:

Monograms are often completed within four business days (we consider Monday through Friday business days), then shipped off. For example, a monogrammed blanket ordered on Tuesday would usually ship the next Monday if not earlier. An order with a monogram placed on Monday would usually ship on Friday if not before. However, sometimes monograms take longer than four business days to ship off.

Free Shipping for Domestic Orders $75 and Above

Orders with $75 or more of merchandise going to the U.S. ship free! To enjoy free shipping, select the FREE Shipping ($75 or more order) option at checkout. This shipping option includes a USPS tracking number. This option does not include insurance. If you would like insurance for your order, you need to choose the USPS Priority Mail with Insurance option at checkout. For the free shipping option, we choose the shipping method and will send the order via USPS First-Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, or another USPS shipping method. If you need your order by a certain date, you can check with us before ordering to see if you need to pick a USPS Priority Mail option instead of the free option. This free shipping option is not available for orders going outside the U.S.

USPS Priority Mail Options

USPS Priority Mail packages usually arrive two to three days after we send them; packages to Texas sometimes arrive in one day. While the postal service does not guarantee the two to three days, the postal service often holds to this timeframe. We offer $6 and $9 flat rate USPS Priority Mail (but no insurance) shipping options, for orders shipped to U.S. addresses. Only one of these two options will display during checkout, based on the size and weight of the items in your order. We also offer $8 and $11 USPS Priority Mail with Insurance shipping options for domestic orders. Only one of the insured options will display based on the size and weight of the items in your order. If your order is shipping to Hawaii, you will only see one Priority Mail option at checkout (a $10 flat rate option). We include the USPS tracking number on your order shipped receipts, and you can track your packages using these numbers at www.usps.com. Please see the "United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times" section above for information on the timeframe it will take for us to ship off USPS orders.

USPS First-Class Mail Option

We offer a $3 flat rate USPS First-Class Mail (but no insurance) shipping option, for orders up to 13 ounces shipped to U.S. addresses. This option will display if the weight of the items in your order fall within the limits for this option. We include the USPS tracking number on your order shipped receipts, and you can track your packages using these numbers at www.usps.com. Please see the "United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times" section above for information on the timeframe it will take for us to ship off USPS orders.

International Shipments

We offer shipping through the United States Postal Service to the following countries: Canada, England, Mexico, and New Zealand. This list is subject to change due to new rules that may be implemented in various countries. If you place an order to a country that now incurs high shipping costs or taxes and we can't fulfill your order, we will let you know and refund your order. We are no longer able to ship to the EU due to tax changes or to Australia because of limited shipping options due to COVID.

We do not offer free shipping to locations outside of the United States. If you select the free shipping option at checkout for an order going outside of the U.S., we will send you a Paypal invoice for $10 or $15 for the shipping, depending on the size of the order. If you want United States Postal Service shipping and the country you want to ship to is not listed above, we will see if we can ship to that country using the postal service. The shipping charge for almost every country will be $10 for orders up to a pound and $15 for over a pound. You need to email us at service@lemonadecouture.com with the list of items you would like to order. We will then calculate the shipping cost and send you a Paypal invoice for the items in the order plus the shipping price. If our system allows automatic shipping at checkout to that country, we will get the country added to our checkout process so that the next time you place an order, the postal service option will appear at checkout.

If your order is being shipped to Canada, England, Mexico, or New Zealand, we offer two flat rate regular pace shipping options using the United States Postal Service:

Only one of the above flat rate options will display upon checkout, based on the weight of the items in your order.

 

There are some countries (including the EU and Australia) that we can't ship to due to taxes, high shopping costs, and COVID restrictions. If you are in a country other than the above, email us a list of the products and sizes you want to order, we will determine if we can ship to your country, and we will send you a Paypal invoice for the items plus shipping. The shipping cost to almost every country not listed above is $10 or $15, based on the weight of the package. If you are shipping to a country that costs more, we will let you know the price.

Order Process Information

See the "United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times" section above for the schedule of when we ship off orders.

Selecting a USPS Priority Mail shipping method for an order containing monogrammed items will get your order to you or the recipient sooner, because the shipping travel time will be fast. However, we will always need time to monogram your order even if you have selected a fast shipping option. Monograms are often completed within four business days, then shipped off but sometimes take longer; our monogram business days are Monday through Friday. If you ever have a question about which shipping method you should select based on when we will ship off your order, please email us at service@lemonadecouture.com before placing your order, and we can let you know the date we will ship off your particular order.

If you ever need an order by a certain date, please email us at service@lemonadecouture.com or leave a comment during checkout indicating the date by which you need the order. If we are not able to get the order to you by the date, we will let you know that as soon as possible. Please see our "United States Postal Service (USPS) Shipping Processing Times" section; that is the schedule we use to ship off orders.

Shipping policies are included on web sites as a standard. If you choose not to read our policies, we will not be held accountable for you not receiving a package in a timeframe faster than the times stated in our policies. We will not reimburse original or return shipping costs if our policies are not read. By placing your order, you have agreed to all policies listed on this Customer Service page. We try to be very clear about our policies on this page. If you ever have a question about shipping timeframe, please email us your questions before placing your order. We are always happy to answer your questions when you email us at service@lemonadecouture.com.

Once placed, orders containing monogrammed items cannot be canceled or the name, initials, or thread color changed. If you have a question about monograms or need a monogram by a certain date, we always recommend that you email us before placing your order. We sometimes give the monogram information to the monogrammer immediately after an order is placed. So, you need to get any monogram questions or monogram timeframe questions answered before placing your order since monogram orders cannot be canceled once the monogram orders are placed.

We only ship orders that have already been paid for. No exceptions. Also, if we send you a Paypal invoice for any reason for your order (for example for an international order), we will hold the merchandise for 24 hours. After 24 hours, we can no longer reserve the items.

Promo codes apply only to new orders. If you have a promo code, you cannot apply it to an order that has already been placed. Also, promo codes cannot be used toward special custom orders. One promo code can be used per order; promo codes cannot be combined.

We use advanced fraud detetection methods. If we suspect that a fraudulent payment method has been used for an order, we reserve the right to refund the card or other payment method and cancel the order. Should this happen, our system will send out an order canceled email receipt to the email address specified when placing the order.

If you enter the wrong address upon checkout, we ship your order to that address, then you realize later that you entered the wrong address, we will not send out a second order to the correct address. You will have to pay for a new order. Then, if and when we receive the returned package, we will refund you for the items minus the shipping and handling charge and the return shipping charge (if we are charged for the return shipping). Note that this has never happened before of a customer entering the wrong adress, us shipping to that address, and a customer not receiving their order. If we can tell from our end that an address is incorrect, we will email you to verify the shipping address. But please always double check the shipping address when you enter it upon checkout. We are always worried that our shipping software won't detect that an address someone has incorrectly entered is incorrect before we ship. And we definitely want you to receive your package in a timely manner!

If an address doesn't exist and is just slightly off from the shipping address you gave us, the address checking software that we use will correct the address and we will ship the order without making contact.

Lemonade Couture will contact you via email if the merchandise you have ordered is not currently in stock. To ship to more than one address, you must place separate orders.

Sales Tax for Texas Residents

As required by law, we add 8.25 percent sales tax on merchandise and shipping to all deliveries within Texas.

Shipping Restrictions

Once Lemonade Couture has delivered the merchandise to the carrier, you will assume the risk of loss for the merchandise. Lemonade Couture keeps tracking numbers for all domestic orders. You can find this information on the order shipped receipt that is emailed to you. But if for some reason it is not there, please request this information from us.

International USPS orders come with the customs form tracking number on the shipped receipt that you receive. This customs form tracking number is not a full tracking number. The post office tells us it only tracks the package until it arrives at customs and provides very infrequent updates. But you can enter this tracking number at www.usps.com like our domestic tracking numbers.

USPS international packages are not insured. Our USPS domestic packages come with tracking numbers and we offer optional insurance for our Priority Mail options. We are not responsible if you choose an uninsured domestic USPS option or are shipping internationally and you do not receive your package or something happens to your package in transit. We will not send out replacement merchandise if the USPS loses or damages your order. You will assume all risks associated with shipping via USPS; Lemonade Couture will not be held responsible. Although we have never had customers say that their USPS orders were damaged, there is always the risk when you select to have your order shipped via the postal service without insurance that the postal service could lose or damage your order. We have heard of this happening with other businesses. That is why we offer a domestic USPS Priority Mail option with insurance on checkout.

Lemonade Couture is not responsible for any taxes, duties, brokerage fees, or customs fees. Upon arrival of the package in your country, you may be contacted to arrange payment of any local duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and/or customs fees assessed by your government or the carrier. Please remember that Lemonade Couture has absolutely no control over these charges. Also, Lemonade Couture is not responsible for any time a package is held up within customs; we don't have control over that.

If you do not pick up or make delivery arrangements for a domestic package or international postal service package that we have sent you or you do not pay taxes, duties, brokerage fees, or customs fees that you owe for the package and it gets returned to us, we will subtract the original shipping cost plus handling fees (the cost to reimburse ourselves for the time spent packaging and shipping your package), and any return shipping charge from your refund. If you received free shipping for your order, we will deduct from your refund $9 shipping for a domestic order plus handling fees. We will also subtract from your refund any customs fees, duties, brokerage fees, or taxes for both the original and return shipments.

If you decide to refuse a shipment from Lemonade Couture, you are responsible for the original shipping and handling fees (including the cost to reimburse ourselves for the time spent packaging and shipping your package), the cost of returning the package to Lemonade Couture, and any customs fees, duties, brokerage fees, or taxes for both the original and return shipments. We will subtract these charges from your refund. If you received free shipping for your order, we will deduct from your refund $9 shipping for a domestic order.

Payments Using Paypal eChecks

If you use the eCheck option on Paypal to pay for your order, it takes about 6-8 days and sometimes longer for the check to clear and for Paypal to send us that money. Paypal asks us to wait until they have notified us that the check has cleared before we ship your order. We will always wait to ship your order until the eCheck has cleared. No exceptions. There is no waiting period for regular payments through Paypal.

Gift Certificates

We do not offer gift certificates. If you have a gift certificate from the short period when our site offered gift certificates, please email us at service@lemonadecouture.com to redeem it.

We want to know what you like. If there are particular types of items on our site you would like to see more of, please let us know. Also, should you ever have an issue with one of our products, we want to know.

We receive a number of emails about: products people make that they would like us to carry, advertising packages, and donating items for auctions among other email subjects. Due to the volume of emails we receive, we cannot respond to all these emails on the above subjects. If we are interested in your offer, be assured that we will reply. No response on such an email means that we are not interested at this time. We cannot participate in or respond to every offer, event, and product inquiry sent to us due to receiving so many emails on these topics. Thanks for understanding.

Also, we receive a lot of emails from boutiques about whether they can buy our products wholesale. At this time, we do not offer any of our products at wholesale prices. We do not have plans to enter the wholesale market. However, should we begin offering some products wholesale in the future, we will indicate that on this page.

Returns

Return Policy

  • Lemonade Couture must receive any returns within 21 days of the date you received the merchandise. Please ship off your return to us within 14 days of receipt since transit time can take up to seven days. Please use a trackable shipping method with insurance; we are not responsible if you return an item without tracking or insurance and the carrier loses or damages the package. If the return adheres to our return policies, we will process your refund in seven days or less. Your credit card company or Paypal may then take additional days to refund you.
  • For Christmas gifts purchased between Nov. 15 and Dec. 25, we must receive any returns within 21 days after Christmas.
  • Returns are allowed on holiday items only if Lemonade Couture receives your returned holiday item 12 days before the holiday occurs. Since we often have low stock of holiday items, this enables us to offer low quantity holiday goods to others before the holiday arrives.
  • Hats, crowns, headbands, bows, tutus, pettiskirts, petti rompers, monogrammed items, items with an initial, and special order items cannot be returned. We will not give credit for these items if they are returned.
  • Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. No exceptions.
  • If you used our FREE Shipping option and return an item or items in the order to bring the total for the items you kept under $75, we will deduct $9 for shipping from the return credit.
  • If you used our FREE Shipping option and return all items in the order, we will deduct $9 for shipping from the return credit.
  • If you used a promo code that requires a certain dollar amount as the minimum purchase to receive the promo code discount and the return brings the order under that minimum, we will deduct the entire discount amount received on the original order from the return credit.
  • We do not pay for the cost of returning items to us or reimburse the customer for return shipping. You must pay for return shipping costs yourself. No exceptions.
  • Products must not be worn, altered, washed, or used.
  • Shoes must not have any marks on the bottoms. Be sure to try on shoes on a carpeted surface.
  • We do not accept returns on items that were damaged while worn or washed, shrunk in the wash, or did not hold up after being worn. In other words, we do not accept returns of items that have been worn or washed.
  • Products must have tags attached.
  • Products that came in packaging (for example, shoes in a shoe box), must include their original packaging.
  • We list our order timeframes for monogramming items and for shipping off regular and fast ship orders on this page. We will not reimburse shipping charges to you or back to us if you chose not to read our timeframe information and you are expecting the order to arrive in a faster timeframe than we have listed. Please always email us at service@lemonadecouture.com before placing your order if you have a question about when we will ship off your order.
  • We provide size charts and age ranges on many products as general guidelines of ages and sizes that a product might fit. But each child is shaped a little different and the size charts and age ranges are only general guidelines. If a product does not fit, you are welcome to return it if it is listed as a returnable item according to our return policy. But we will not reimburse shipping charges to you or back to us if the product does not fit.
  • The handmade items on our site can vary a bit from photos. No two handmade items look exactly alike. Fabric placement can vary per item such as on shoes and rompers. Fabrics used with a handmade item such as a headband or a pair of shoes can vary if a fabric runs out and a similar fabric is used as a substitution. Also, for example, the brand bodysuit used with a hand appliqued bodysuit can vary from photos. Please always ask us before ordering if you have a question about the particular item that will be sent to you. We will not reimburse shipping charges to you or back to us because of variations that are part of the handmade process, or due to variations in the blanks such as bodysuits or burp cloths used with some of our products.
  • Many products on our site are photographed with other photography props that are not included with the purchase of that product. For example, a photo might contain a hat, a tie, and handmade toys. Please do not assume that all items in every photo are included with the purchase of one item. If a product includes multiple items, the product description will list everything that the product comes with. Please ask us questions before ordering about what a product includes if you are not sure. We will not reimburse shipping charges to you or back to us because of assumptions that the purchase of one product includes other photo props in that product's photos. 
  • Colors can vary depending on your monitor. Also, many of our products are professionally photographed with professional lighting. The colors of items can vary slightly because of prefessional photography and professional lighting. We will not reimburse shipping charges to you or back to us because the color looks slightly different on your monitor.
  • Any items marked Final Sale may not be returned. If an item is final sale, you will see Final Sale on that item's product page. We do not currently have any Final Sale items on our site. But particular categories of items can't be returned as listed earlier in our return policies.
  • Items received as a gift are not returnable for cash.
  • Sometimes, we offer a free gift with purchase (such as a headband or hat). Free gifts are not exchangeable for other merchandise in our store or returnable for cash or credit. If we list a certain dollar amount as the minimum purchase to receive the free gift and a return of another item or items in the order brings the order under that minimum, you must return the free gift with the return. If there is not a minimum order dollar amount required for the free gift and you return the entire order, you must return the free item with the return. Note that free gifts are one per household and they will be shipped to the same address to which the order is going.

Need a Different Size or Color?

We do not offer exchanges. This is because you will get your order more quickly by placing a new order online. We do not ship out merchandise until it has been paid for. Once we receive your return, we will credit your account for the return.

If you received items as a gift and need different sizes, we can send you new sizes upon receiving your return and after you have paid for shipping if you first email us at service@lemonadecouture.com with the list of new sizes that you want. If you received the items as a gift, we will send you a Paypal shipping invoice for the cost of shipping the new items to you. 

Photos & Products

All photos and products on our site are protected by copyright. Copyright 2024. Our photos are not to be downloaded or used on your site without permission. Any time one of our photos is used on a blog or elsewhere, a reference and link back to Lemonade Couture is required. Do not copy our products. They are protected by copyright law.

We carry a number of handmade items. The handmade items can vary a bit from photos. No two handmade items look exactly alike. That is part of the handmade process and what makes each handmade item unique. Fabric placement can vary from photos, as the fabric placement will always be unique on items such as shoes and baby rompers. Fabrics used with a handmade item such as a headband or a pair of shoes can vary from photos if a fabric runs out and a similar fabric is used as a substitution. Our headband makers are artists, and each finished headband will be slightly different and unique. Also, for example, the brands of bodysuits and burp cloths that are then embellished can vary. If you want to know the particular brand of for example an appliqued bodysuit that will be coming in your order, email us and we will be happy to let you know the brand. Don't assume that because a photo was photographed with one brand of a blank white bodysuit that the same brand bodysuit is always used for an embellished appliqued bodysuit. The brands of "blanks" such as solid colored bodysuits and plain white burp cloths can vary. Also, sometimes we photograph an item tied up with a particular bow but will use several different types of ribbons to tie up that product, depending on the ribbons available at the time we are adding a bow to the item.

If you order a monogram on a blanket, we add the monogram to the blanket that was made earlier. Monogrammed names and initials have a mirror image on the back side.

Many products on our site are photographed with other photography props and products that are not included with the purchase of that product. For example, a photo might contain a hat, a tie, and handmade toys or it might contain a headband, a dress, a pair of shoes, and a toy or any other combination of products and photo props. Please do not assume that all items in every photo are included with the purchase of one item. If a product contains multiple items, the product description will list everything that the product comes with. Please ask us questions before ordering about what a product includes if you are not sure.

Colors can vary depending on your monitor. Also, many of our products are professionally photographed with professional lighting. The colors of items can vary slightly because of professional photography and professional lighting.

Some of our products are embellished with small parts. Be careful and watch your babies and children when they wear any items with small parts.
